Also, when the devil tries to remind me of a checkered past only to embarrass or otherwise cause trouble or trip me up again, in my mind, I point to the "grave" in Christ where I buried all my sins in the innocent blood of Christ and tell the devil to get lost! Those who have given their hearts to Jesus are saved and forgiven, not perfect. Makes that bad dude run away immediately.
Have a blessed day. ~:)Sparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531515666554867421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-12483879121308361582015-05-05T08:51:49.933-05:002015-05-05T08:51:49.933-05:00Thanx Lulu. Yes---you hit the nail on the head---our pride rules the day. It is a moment by moment decision to not allow our suffering to rule our hearts. With practice--it does become easier.
Thank you for commenting and especially for sharing Charles!
Blessings!luluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11520683067915486215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-1133683589541704502015-05-05T07:40:30.298-05:002015-05-05T07:40:30.298-05:00Thanks Lulu for this reflection. I love it so much...Thanks Lulu for this reflection. I love it so much and I shared it with a family friend that can't let go the hurt her family suffered many years ago. There's joy in forgiveness. It starts the process of the healing of relationships and gives peace to the soul that forgives. It certainly requires efforts and humility to let go of the past.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02438054404056853252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-10171044231486661422015-05-05T06:19:28.118-05:002015-05-05T06:19:28.118-05:00NOW Victor---the MASTER of word play!
