No doubt as the stress lessens from everything that moving entails, you'll settle even deeper into comfortable routines and understandings. We've lived 10 minutes from one of our sons and his family for eight years. Just the other day, after enjoying another lovely meal in their home, it occurred to me: we've never spoken angry words at each other in all that time. We may disagree on some matters, but have settled into that attitude of "agree to disagree." I am SO thankful for loving family who strive to treat others the way they want to be treated--even family!www.nancyaruegg.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13060173405144735663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-68727232063273436442022-11-07T18:33:55.872-06:002022-11-07T18:33:55.872-06:00Hopefully I will get back to my writing, Martha! ...Hopefully I will get back to my writing, Martha! I'm just glad to hear you are getting somewhat settled and learning to adjust to the new combinations of family living. I would so love to live closer to my daughter, sil, and the girls, but at least, we got to see them several weeks ago. I'll be covering that in an upcoming blog.<br />I'm so glad you got back in touch with us; I was beginning to worry!Martha Jane Orlandohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11620499267401065780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-17600394243261990392022-11-07T12:13:15.112-06:002022-11-07T12:13:15.112-06:00Oh my goodness…you’ve moved in with the family??? ...Oh my goodness…you’ve moved in with the family??? You are a brave human being. I totally understand your situation with “trying” to become a Texas citizen. We did that several years ago, and we shocked at how many hoops we had to jump through to make through. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
