It's fun to see the furnishings, the fireplaces, the dinner parties. It often looked like a Norman Rockwell painting.

How beautifully your turned it to wanting God. I loved that! I know you are familiar with St. Augustine's remark about any desire really being about wanting God. You are in good company my friend. May we all come to the same conclusion, that all desire is to be turned to the Lord!
Blessings,
CeilCeilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06293917798735764739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-41535719673473031412016-04-27T06:48:16.914-05:002016-04-27T06:48:16.914-05:00Please do not leave your drapes open at night--it ...Please do not leave your drapes open at night--it is difficult to withstand the temptation. You, my friend, could never be a peeping Tom, I mean, Lulu. Great post...have a beautiful Wednesday, friend.

{{giggling over Victor's comment)Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16466115918585699329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-40572196400794542422016-04-27T04:22:04.928-05:002016-04-27T04:22:04.928-05:00I remember years ago I was a member of the Neighbo...I remember years ago I was a member of the Neighbourhood Watch Team. We watched around the neighbourhood for anything suspicious. And yes, at night, returning from the pub with a friend, it is amazing how many people leave their curtains open for all to see. One evening, late, we were passing a bungalow and in the front room a couple were enjoying themselves in the bedroom. In their hurry they had forgotten to close the curtains. Gave Neighbourhood Watch a new meaning.

There's no way I would covet my neighbour's wife, Lulu. She frightens me to death. She is tall and thin and very white faced. Like Dracula's wife, I guess. She has long black hair flowing down her back. None on her head. Just her back. When she's out in her garden she frightens all the birds. This year they returned all the seeds they took last year. Our cat is so frightened out of his nine lives that he climbs up the curtain when he sees her. Leaving me no room to climb beside him.

Honestly though. This is yet another wonderful post, Lulu. I feel guilty making light of it. But I hope you'll forgive me. Sometimes as I read something, some words trigger all sorts of things in my memory. This post mentioned open curtains, and covet ... and off my brain went wandering again.

God bless you now and always.
