Unfortunately, we are always behind in new trends.

Praying we all return to a sense of civility, and stem the downward slide!

Thank you for your comments, Victor!luluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11520683067915486215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-14136908366298851592015-11-02T15:21:33.655-06:002015-11-02T15:21:33.655-06:00I'm also born and raised in the Deep South. Socialism / Communism, rather than relying on God and His Word, has ruined all our cultures beyond measure rendering us rude, impatient, greedy and sometimes dangerous. I think the whole world needs an attitude adjustment that only belief in God can give.
Great post as always Lulu.
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)Sparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531515666554867421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-33242616756594334062015-11-02T14:28:23.811-06:002015-11-02T14:28:23.811-06:00Sorry to return to this subject Lulu.
Back in the...Sorry to return to this subject Lulu.

Back in the day, in the UK, people would stop and take their hats off when they see a funeral cortege passing. Now they are more likely to overtake the hearse.

Now if you stand up and give up your seat to a lady on a bus or train she is more likely to ask you what you want; thinking you're propositioning her.

Many a time I stood there at the supermarket holding the door open and people enter without saying thank you.

We've even had incidents where frail old people are attacked in the street and at their own homes for the few pennies they have on them. Many end up in hospital or die from the attack.

A friend of mine works in a call centre as a customer services assistant. You should hear the foul language from people phoning his organisation to complain about the service. Often the insults are personal rather than directed to the complaint they have to make.

Lulu ... I feel sad writing this.

God bless.
Victor S E Moubarakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04280638667651857296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-88760546529036893702015-11-02T12:03:15.958-06:002015-11-02T12:03:15.958-06:00I disagree Lulu. I do say 'thank you' and 'please' and all that by knee-jerk response, but I'm not so sure it's a bad thing. I think sometimes habits come before understanding...sort of like teeth brushing as children. But now? It's time to put my soul into my actions.
I'll look forward to your November posts, and being encouraged to think more deeply about what I say.
CeilCeilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06293917798735764739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5416556583423635558.post-91803902104931794622015-11-02T08:58:21.896-06:002015-11-02T08:58:21.896-06:00Your are very welcome, Victor.
