I WILL ALWAYS SING

My specific prayer in the last few days

Has been to live in the joy of the moment

With no thought of the past

And no worry about the future

Only looking to the gift of the present

    As you know, living in the moment is OK when it's lived in the Lord. I try to do that too (don't always succeed, but I do try). Tomorrow doesn't exist, yesterday is a memory, there's only today.

    Hi Lulu! I think you have found the key to joy. If I look back, or forward, I can be filled with regret or worry. Right here, right now is the place God meets me and I should rejoice in that.
    My husband is grilling a chicken today, and I'm so grateful for the milder weather. Thank you God for the wonder of right now, and the grace of your creation!
