We have an almost hidden and sometime overlooked gem here in the middle of Ruston.
The North Louisiana Military Museum draws visitors from all over including the grands almost every trip to see Lulu. The brain child of one of our local vets, Ernie Stevens, this museum is crammed full of military memorabilia- Inside and Outside. It is well organized and leads you through the history of the military men and women of the U.S. I see something new every time I visit. Here is the best news--It is free! There is a donation box by the door, but you are not required to leave a dime. I promise when you exit the building you will want to contribute to keep this well done exhibit going.
As we celebrate the birth of our great nation, I invite you to go by and remember the sacrifices that were made by so many so that we could live in the home of the brave and land of the free.
This definitely sounds like an attraction to be treasured, Lulu.
