WHILE AWAY FROM THE HOOD--

I MADE A FLYING TRIP
TO LOUISIANA
FOR A WEDDING

THE ASPENS WERE BEAUTIFUL
WHEN I WENT TO COLORADO
IN OCTOBER

BUT THE FALL HARDWOOD FORESTS
IN THE MIDST OF THE EVERGREENS
IS ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING
IN NORTH LOUISIANA

THE WEDDING WAS IN THE DELTA
WHERE THE HOUSES ARE RAISED
THIS FARM WAS THE BRIDE'S
FATHER'S CHILDHOOD HOME

IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL
AND SWEET WEDDING
IN THE MIDST OF THE
BEAUTIFUL OLD OAK TREES

COMPLETE WITH
BOUDIN BALLS
AND WEDDING CAKE
YUMMY!

AND THE UN-INVITED GUESTS
THE STATE BIRD OF LOUISIANA
WERE NOT DETERRED
BY THE COOL TEMPERATURES
WHILE WE FEASTED--SO DID THEY

ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE IDEAS
AN ARTIST CAPTURING
THE MOMENT WITH PAINT
TRULY AN INSPIRED IDEA!

A BEAUTIFUL GOD HONORING WEDDING
IN MY OLD STOMPING GROUND

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

AND FINALLY FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE
WHO DOUBT MY CRAFTINESS
I MADE THESE WITH
THE SWEET CHILD I MENTOR
THIS WEEK

STILL LIVING LIFE LARGE
HERE IN THE HOOD!

  3. Hey, we have the same state bird. *lol* Since we're in our twilight years, it seems like all we attend nowadays are funerals. A wedding would be a welcome change up. Nice photos and the bride was lovely. Hope your day is blessed. ~:)

Your comments keep my writing and often cause me to think. A written form of a hug or a pat on the back and an occasional slap into reality---I treasure them all!
