    Do you have Sainsbury's in the USA, Lulu? It's a large chain of stores in the UK. I think it's the second biggest after Tesco. And we also have Walmart although they trade under the name Asda.

      No- I found this quite by accident & as always love English Stories! I avoid Wal Mart like the plague - hope you have had a better experience in the UK!

      ASDA was a long established British Firm (owned by Associated Dairies - hence the name). Walmart took over the whole chain of stores a few years back but kept the name ASDA and as far as the customer is concerned, it is still ASDA. Wehave not noticed much difference than before. ASDA is a very successful chain of stores. Very clean and very competitively priced goods.
