  1. Hold on to that holster---Obama is set to sign some Executive Orders....(wink and giggling)---I'll tell you (offer an opinion), no, I better not--how many more months until he is out? Lord helps us if Billary gets in.....might want to look George Soros up and his emails to her---sighing---oh wait---I said I wasn't going to offer an opinion, giggling.

Snow here in western NY, friend...prob a few inches and still coming down. Not complaining---I like it, smiles. Have a happy Saturday---and I have two (hubby and son) who like to make up the rules as they play board games or even UNO as well, wink.

    1. Post a snow picture occassionally - it is beautiful! Men making up rules in my life started with my oldest brother & board games a LONG time ago! They think about winning- I just enjoy the game time together!!

  2. Sorry to hear some of the clan are sick. I pray they are well soon.
I love, love, LOVE Texas! We've thought or are thinking about moving to an Eastern area. Anyway, we carry ours on a holster whenever it's convenient and I try not to frequent any place that doesn't allow my God-given right of self protection. And what Linda said at Billary, let's all pray that that evil will be put away soon and not put in office. ~:)

    1. Two grands down - but the young just get fussy- not go to bed like I have to. You would be shocked where I keep my gun, Sparky, but can't say on the WWW! Politics- I think we are in a mess if epic proportions! Look at history- what always happens to great society's !
      Blessings!
By the way my mother was from East Texas- the terrain is very similar to North Louisiana

    1. Hoppin John is a very old recipe where you put your peas in rice/tomato/onion/garlic---It is similar to a black eyed pea jambalaya . I don't really like black eyed peas alone--but in this recipe and another for black eyed pea gumbo that I make--they are delicious! Sorry for the delay in answering--just saw your question.

Your comments keep my writing and often cause me to think. A written form of a hug or a pat on the back and an occasional slap into reality---I treasure them all!
