TAKING A LONG WALK
ON THE TRINITY TRAIL
I RAN INTO A COWBOY
WITH A TEN GALLON HAT
ON A SKATE BOARD
I LAUGHED AND COMMENTED
WHILE PASSING HIM
"NOW I'VE SEEN IT ALL!"
HE COOLLY REPLIED
"LADY, YOU ARE IN TEXAS."
THEN I PASSED

At first, when I read today's Blog, I wondered: "Has Lulu been eating a lot of cheese before going to bed?" Seeing a cowboy with a ten gallon hat on a skateboard, and a lady dressed as a pink basket is the stuff of Alice in Wonderland dreams which I often get after cheese and biscuits and ... a drink or two. The thing is, I love cheese and biscuits.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely miniature train you have locally, and a zoo too. You're so lucky to have such great amenities nearby.
Have a splendid day, Lulu. God bless you.
The people here in Texas tend to lean to extremes, Victor!
DeleteYes, I do live in a beautiful place!
Blessings, Friend!
The "s" word is in the forecast here, Lulu. Thanks for the giggles, have a beautiful weekend. Hope your roof isn't going to cost too much. Blessings
ReplyDeleteSHUT YOUR MOUTH!! Ever need a break from that misery--come on down!
DeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Blessings!
Now, you know I would just have to have the Jalapeno in a cowboy hat! Wouldn't the neighbors talk?! (Well, they would if we had neighbors.) I like quirky yard art.
ReplyDeleteI wish you could talk Simply Linda into leaving those heathen up thar in Yankee land and moving to Texas. That would be too cool. Texas is awesome.
I pray that insurance covers all costs with the roof, etc.
Hope your day is blessed in the Hood. Y'all stay safe. ~:)
