AN AHA MOMENT!

Here is one of my little secrets---I often write my blogs DAYS ahead of time---but since having my "Crisis of Mission" I have stopped doing that.  I began writing for the day---reading my devotionals---my daily Word---and relying upon God to supply the topic and the text.  An effort in relying upon Him and not upon me--

God has been pointing me to the "Whys" of life recently.  I posted here and here--my revelations from The Word concerning the answers to the Whys?.  The conclusions I came to revolved around the need for God during times of crisis and our inability to understand the infinite boundaries of the Mind of God.

After writing the blog for the day, I was not looking or expecting another topic.  God had nicely supplied today's provision and there was no need for further inspiration.  I sat reading an article of a recent college graduate back-packing across Europe.  Ending up traveling alone, she unwisely took a drink from some one's canteen---when she woke up---she felt terrible and found her passport and all of her valuables stolen.  She was penniless on the rail depot platform crying in frustration and fear.  A stranger approached--one she would never think of traveling with--and offered help.  Over the course of the next few days she received assistance from many of the unsavory looking hostel dwellers--they provided her food--the hostel manager allowed her to stay with no payment.  They offered aide and assistance with no expectation of repayment.  She trusted those she would never expect help from in the past.

BAM!---TRUST

Not seeking God's daily provision--since He had already provided---He chose to enlighten me--while reading a secular story.  The Why's----when there is no answer for Why---we learn God will be by our side and provide.  When you do not think you can go on one more moment---praying for relief---He gives you an Oasis.  The Why's teach us TRUST---We CAN trust Him!  Part of the reason---a glimpse of the explanation---learning He is TRUSTWORTHY!

I am always amazed at how God works---and once again--He has proven I can
Trust Him.

And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.
Psalm 9:10

  1. trust. He is always trustworthy. And yet so many of those who surround us are not. But as we trust Him deeper, discernment follows. And He has a way of guiding us to those who are trustworthy. And we become wiser in the process ...

    1. ONLY He is truly trustworthy---for we---all of us are fallen man.

      Praying for Wisdom, Friend!

Your comments keep my writing and often cause me to think. A written form of a hug or a pat on the back and an occasional slap into reality---I treasure them all!
