 John Newton (1725-1807)

 who also wrote "Amazing Grace".

  4. Hi Lulu! How great to hear another song by this wonderful writer! I really like it too. What a faith this sea captain showed after his conversion. It reminds me of St. Paul. What God can do in us is truly a wonder.
