  1. I love Blue Bell Strawberry Shortcake---we can't get it here though...for whatever reason, no Blue Bell. I wish NY had a open carry law...our governor is darn right ultra liberal---one can not even buy ammo here.

ANYWAYS---great post. Have a happy weekend, friend.

  2. What is an open carry law? Here in the UK we have certain districts known as "No Cold Calling Zones". This means you cannot knock door-to-door trying to sell something.

I used to be a door-to-door salesman selling doors. I had a small case with a lot of different tiny models of doors. I didn't sell any because they were too small for the appertures in people's houses.

I wish I could travel to Texas on holiday and meet real cowboys with their cowboy hats and boots. I also always wanted to go swimming with dolphins, but could not afford the holiday costs. My travel agent booked me on a cheaper holiday swimming with sardines instead. It was at our local swimming pool. You swim in the pool and people throw tins of sardines at you.

You also get a souvenir medal. I got angry when they gave me mine. They pinned it on my chest before I got dressed.

    God bless.

    1. Oh ... one more thing I forgot.

For the adventurous, the travel agent also had holidays swimming with crocodiles. For some unknown reason he only booked your tickets one way only.

I remember years ago on holidays I used to go to the local zoo and feed the monkeys ... to the lions.

One day I saw an old man sitting on a bench feeding the birds. Apparently he had been dead for a while.

    2. MY laugh for the day, Victor! Open carry---you can openly carry your weapons--remember I am looking for a feminine holster?
Finding a cowboy in TX has proven difficult even living in TX! I think they are not in the city---but out on the range!

  3. Did you have a heart attack? Hope not.
I've got a .32 semi-auto that I open carry on my property and on the country walks we take. Mostly because there have been rabid animals of late. But also it keeps unwelcome "visitors" in their own area. *wink* Many of my neighbors open carry too. Some of the neighbors are LEO's. It helps that they are Christian too and know we're not up to mischief. An armed society is a polite society.
We just cut down and removed a bunch of Cedar and Oak tree limbs, so, I'm pooped! I love having lots of land but it's also lots of work. Now we're chillin' inside watching The Blues Brothers movie again. I sure miss the '80s.
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)

  4. No heart attack- being silly . In my prior life we lived in the middle of 5 acres of woods, it was a lot of work to keep those woods pretty! Yes, I miss the good old days too- but sure don't want to do it all again!
    Blessings, Friend!

Your comments keep my writing and often cause me to think. A written form of a hug or a pat on the back and an occasional slap into reality---I treasure them all!
