MEANWHILE HERE IN THE HOOD

EVEN IN THE BIG CITY

WE GET A LITTLE TESTY

OVER TEENS

EMAIL SENT TO ALL RESIDENTS OF THE HOOD

A driver of a black GMC SUV tossed a Budweiser beer bottle on the berm at 6:10pm this evening.  Would you please ask your teen to just bring home his beer bottles and recycle them, or better yet, sign him up to help with the neighborhood cleanup team this weekend.

    1. I am sure he has stories to tell of his trip. Already heard one about saving a baby's life. It seems in Africa, one does not go to the ER unless you are really - really sick. We Americans are a spoiled lot!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to you, Sweet Linda!

  3. Litter on our little country lane has reached deplorable levels. Hubby and I pick up one mile from our house to the paved road. Someone, or several someone's, has a serious drinking and substance abuse problem. I try to pray for them every day. They must have vapid lives, just existing from one 'high' to another. If I could find out who it is I would invite them to our church.
The 'runaway dog' looks just like one of our Jack Russell Terriers. They sure a cutie's and very clever.
Happy to Doctor SIL (does that stand for "son in law"?) is safe and sound. I'm not brave enough to leave our country to do things like that. I admire his grit.
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)

    1. Yes, Sparky son in law or Dr. Daddy as I often refer to him. He is a brave man with a servants heart. Was over there with Samaritan's Purse.
      Mother's Day Blessings, Friend!

Your comments keep my writing and often cause me to think. A written form of a hug or a pat on the back and an occasional slap into reality---I treasure them all!
